We've found 72 hours to be the ideal length for a POPin session. Just long enough for users to participate, but not so long that people lose interest.
That being said... you might realize you had low participation because the people you invited had competing priorities like open enrollment, an offsite meeting, or mandatory training during. In cases like this, you might want to extend the end date beyond that 72-hour best practice.
Here's what you need to know:
You can change the end date and time of any active or closed POPin session.
This is completed by selecting the 'Extend' button on the session toolbar.
If you're extending a closed session, you'll need to navigate from the RESULTS to the POPin tab for the session toolbar to display.
You'll be able to specify your extended date and time from a pop-up window.
With your extension saved, you'll need to notify your participants. How you do this depends on how you previously invited them to the session.
