What is an Admin Settings Owner?
Every organization that uses POPin has an Admin Account Owner – this user has access to some configurations of the organization’s account and controls for that account. In many cases, the user that creates the account through the POPin website will be named as the Admin Settings Owner
Am I the Admin Settings Owner for my organization?
If you are the current Admin Settings Owner for your workplace, you will see an exclusive ‘Admin Settings’ option upon logging into your POPin account and clicking on your profile in the upper right-hand corner of the window.
What permissions do I have as an Admin Settings Owner?
As an Admin Settings Owner you will be able to:
- Edit your organization’s name and choose between the short share link and long link modality. By default, all organizations will receive short share links. If your organization's security configurations do not allow for short link sharing, you may choose to enable long link sharing for your entire organization
- View your organization’s domain name(s). If your organization needs to add domains to your organization's POPin account (in the event of an acquisition, etc.) you may do so by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Request enabling SSO for your organization. If you make the request, you will be contacted by a member of our development team to set up the SSO integration.

Can I be the Admin Settings Owner on two or more organizations?
No, you can only be the Admin Settings Owner of one organization at this time.
Can my organization have more than one Admin Settings Owner?
No, an organization can only have one Admin Settings Owner at this time.
How can I transfer and/or relinquish my Admin Settings Owner role?
If you cannot or do not want to maintain the responsibilities as the Admin Settings Owner in your organization, you can transfer ownership to another user in your organization by visiting your Admin Settings configurations. Once you transfer ownership, both parties will receive an email stating the transaction has taken place. If you need any assistance completing this step, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
