Some people ask, "How is POPin different than a traditional survey?"

While surveys have a place for creating baseline and on-going measurements, they come with challenges like being built with inherent bias and only allowing for a one-way conversation where participant responses go into a void...

POPin combines crowdsourcing and technology to give you insights that can't come from surveys. Specifically, POPin fosters a dynamic and actionable conversation for a collective group so leaders and changemakers can efficiently identify what's most important to the majority of a team, in a real-time fashion.

This can all be done in an anonymous forum, because let’s be blunt: Communicating the truth 'in public' can be tricky! This design offers a safe, efficient way for team members to speak up, expose confusion, and build alignment with one another so their collective voice can be heard.

Keep in mind: We do offer survey capabilities, making it easy to consolidate your employee/customer engagement tools. But... it's POPin style. In addition to having access to traditional survey-style questions (multiple choice, yes/no, stack ranking, 1-5 scale), POPin layers in the ability to capture interactive comments and votes. This allows participants to provide clarifying comments if the 'preloaded' answers are missing the information leaders and changemakers actually need to hear. And, everyone sees all the responses in real-time fashion—inspiring collaboration and accelerating buy-in.
